Arthur A. Nelson was the pen name of Alfred Arthur Nelson (1875–1917), an American writer and advertising manager. He is known for the lost-race adventure Wings of Danger, first serialized in Adventure in 1915 as “The Adventurers” and published in book form that year. The story imagines an ancient Norse society hidden in a volcanic region of East Africa. Nelson also worked for the Royal Typewriter Company.
