Ed Hulse is an American journalist, editor, and pop-culture historian whose work focuses on pulp fiction and vintage popular culture. He has written for newspapers and magazines including The New York Times, The New Yorker, Variety, and Entertainment Weekly, and edited the journal Blood ’n’ Thunder for 14 years.

His books include The Blood ’n’ Thunder Guide to Pulp Fiction and The Art of Pulp Fiction: An Illustrated History of Vintage Paperbacks. Hulse also publishes Forgotten Classics of Pulp Fiction through Murania Press.
