Everett Raymond Kinstler (1926–2019) was an American illustrator and portrait painter. He began working professionally as a teenager, drawing for comic books and pulp magazines during the 1940s and 1950s. His early assignments included romance and western publications, as well as comics.
Kinstler later became widely known for official portraits of public figures, including Presidents Gerald Ford and Ronald Reagan. His portrait of Ford and portrait of Reagan are held at the White House. The transition from fast-paced magazine illustration to formal portraiture marked a long career across popular publishing and American portrait art.
