Henry Kuttner
Henry Kuttner (1915–1958) was an American writer of science fiction, fantasy and horror.
His early interest in Weird Tales led to correspondence with H.P. Lovecraft; the magazine published his first story, “The Graveyard Rats,” in 1936. He later contributed to science-fiction magazines including Thrilling Wonder Stories and Astounding. Kuttner wrote in multiple modes, from sword-and-sorcery to space opera, and published nearly 300 stories in science fiction and fantasy. He married writer C.L. Moore in 1940, and their writing collaboration complicates attribution for many works. Kuttner also published under names including Lawrence O’Donnell and Lewis Padgett, sometimes with Moore.
