Nick Eggenhofer (1897–1985) was a German-born American painter, illustrator, and sculptor whose work focused on the American West. He emigrated to the United States and became known for images of cowboys, horses, and western life. His illustrations appeared in western magazines, including Ace-High and Western Story, placing his work within the pulp tradition of illustrated frontier fiction. Eggenhofer also wrote books about western subjects and worked in sculpture and painting, building a career that extended beyond magazine illustration.
